Socialist councilor in the Tirana Municipal Council, Alfred Muharremi, spoke about the process of forming the new government, emphasizing that the selection of the cabinet is the competence of the prime minister, but the final decision will be discussed within the structures of the Socialist Party.
"The selection of the government is a right of the prime minister, but there will be a meeting for this. The General Assembly of the Socialist Party will be held very soon, where I believe a decision will be made on the composition of the Rama 4 government," Muharremi told News24.
He emphasized that the new government will have as its main orientation European integration and the realization of the objective "Albania 2030 part of the EU".
"We will be efficient in every task for every ministry, as we are very close to closing the negotiations. We have a deadline until 2027 for the proper organization of laws and the state in the European framework. I think it will be a more technical government and in the highest interest of the citizens," he further said.
