Despite the fact that internationals have sought consensus in the anti-corruption commission headed by Fatmir Xhafaj, the majority seems convinced to go ahead even alone.

Today, Fatmir Xhafaj appeared in the media, who tried to show the goals of the commission and according to him, it is not intended to undo the reform. However, he warned that they will continue only if PD does not approach.

" It is our concern. The opposition is an important factor in this process. But the opposition makes its own choices. It has its own place, the opposition chooses what it will do with its role and place. In this case, as in several other cases, the opposition has chosen the wrong form, i.e. the boycott. But this does not mean that the Assembly should not continue ", said Xhafaj in "A2 CNN.

Regarding the rumors that SPAK and the General Prosecutor's Office refused to send experts, Fatmir Xhafaj said that the socialists have not requested support from the judiciary for this commission. " We don't have to ask for public support from the Special Prosecutor's Office, the General Prosecutor's Office. This is a misinterpretation. We have not asked them to be included in the expert groups. Of course, there would be nothing wrong if we called them and they also told us the problems, as they do in the reports they compile every year ", he said.

" The justice institutions themselves have proposed 200 articles that they think should be changed. Therefore, a discussion is needed with the people of justice themselves, with all the professionals and then in the Assembly ", added Xhafaj.
