The Investigative Commission for Health has appointed the experts, two from the opposition and two from the majority.
The experts are Meri Lika and Franci Nuri from Rithemelimi and Bledar Skenderi and Ermir Bejtja from SP.
Today, the meeting of the Investigative Committee on Health was again accompanied by debates between the opposition and the majority. The chairman of the commission, Albana Vokshi, has accused the majority of trying to control the work of this commission. According to Vokshi, secretary Klevis Xhoxhi has exerted pressure and blackmail on the support staff for the commission.
" How did the blackmailing conversation you had with the staff come to me? Don't repeat it again ," Vokshi said.
The accusations were rejected by the secretary Xhoxhi who said that they are corridor rumours, while the socialist vice-president Plarent Ndreca said that the SP only applies the law.
" You are relying on corridor rumors. The law says that the commission chooses a secretary who directs administrative issues. The meeting that took place with the commission's secretariat had only an agenda for the implementation of the law ," said Xhoxhi.
Socialist members of the Investigative Committee for Health have voted against putting the conflict of interest form on the agenda. 8 votes against and 7 votes in favor was the voting result.
The head of the commission, Albana Vpskhi, said that the opposition has signed the declaration of conflict of interest, while the majority refuses.
" The majority rejects the inclusion of the conflict of interest form on the agenda. It is clear to you how much investigation they are prepared to do for these two concessions worth 100 million euros. Since the majority rejects the declaration, I am informing you that the members of the PD group have signed the declaration on the conflict of interest, the majority refuses to do this ," said Vokshi.
