Activist Evi Kokalari has reacted after the news about the start of works for the construction of a tower in the center of Tirana, in a flower garden space. Kokalari stated that the owners are Gim Zeqo and Ilir Shpufi, Shkëlzen Berisha's partner.
She goes even further, where she says that this project is so big that they sold the 2025 elections in return.

I spoke to a few myself yesterday to confirm who is behind the towers. One of them, who I consider a super serious source for his position, said in one sentence that the owners are Gim Zeqo and Ilir Shpufi, Shkëlzen's partner.
This project was given to Rama for approval I believe sometime from last summer. Now you tell me - does anyone think that Rama will approve a project of this level, without knowing who are the owners and their partners?
Cim Peka, who I see seriously mocking public opinion (shame on himself for not being forgiven as a journalist and director of a TV), does well to make public his discussions with Erion Veliaj years ago, when we were all excited about the national assembly and the presidential elections, and this genius would run with the mayor and negotiate the next elections.
The facts are indisputable here.
1-Ilir Shpufi is a partner and works with Shkelzen Berisha's money. If not, Nova Construction should make public all of the company's financials, cash inflows and outflows for the past 15-20 years.
2- This project was submitted for approval to Rama last year when everyone was politically getting ready for the Municipal competitions, and the construction permit was approved on March 8, 2023, just one week after the stamp was passed by the official DP and Berisha refused to join with them on the pretext that he did not bargain with Rama as Alibeaj did.
Chances are that Këllici was not the only one who offered Rames & Velias to you on a silver platter. The protests in front of the prime minister were raising the market. Each municipality had a price. I guarantee you, in these elections, those who led the opposition, did not leave only the municipality of Tirana on the table, but now I have questions about other districts, for example Shkodra!!
In fact, this project is much bigger than that of Kastrati, and from this alone I believe that the chances are that they have sold not only the elections of May 14, but also 2025.
There is nothing wrong with building palaces in Tirana, but selling the vote of the democrats to support you, for family shopping, is not only a brutal violation of democracy, but must absolutely be denounced to SPAK & DASH.

Nderkohe, te gjithe demokrateve te rithemelimit, qe e mundesuan kete kulle me pjesemarrjet e tyre ne protesta dhe fushate, dhe sidomos atyre idioteve qe hidhnin balte mbi mua personalisht kur ngrita zerin per pazare ne kurrizin e atyre vete, ju sygjeroj te shkojne dhe te japin nderimet e radhes perpara kulles, ja ashtu grushtin lart tek temthi, sepse ju jeni produkt i nje rregjimit qe ju tredhoi psikologjikisht, dhe ju ktheu ne dele dhe ushtare te rendomte.
As for Edi Rames, if he was a man, cancel the building permit, as Shkelzen Berisha asked him! At least until SPAK started an investigation.
