"The Assembly will have a workload like never before", Rama: We will
Edi Rama

Prime Minister Edi Rama, in his speech after the closing of the meeting with MPs and ministers, said that in this parliamentary session and next year, a large number of laws will be passed like never before.

For this reason, the head of government proposed special parliamentary sessions solely for the approval of integration laws.

"These two years, the Assembly will be under a load like never before. We need to increase the number of plenary sessions, there are many laws that will pass through the filter due to negotiations," said Rama.

Rama:  I want to make a special assessment of the group leader, it is not a generous role. Since he has to deal with discipline, organization and presence. In all the discussions, the commitment and dedication of the deputies who are in our parliamentary group for the first time also stood out and I hope they continue in this direction. Now, one thing is clear: this year that is starting and the next year will have a load like never before in the history of the Albanian Parliament and like never before.

We need to pass laws, but also to be as qualitative as possible in this process. This increases the need to increase the commitment, work and increase the number of sessions in this process. Perhaps it could be considered to include in the calendar sessions only for the negotiation process. These are sessions that require concentration and a large number of attendees. This process also requires a more qualitative administrative service of the Assembly and we have been talking about internal reform in the Assembly for several years and several steps have been taken.

Sessions that, due to their content and nature, are not sessions that require hours of duration, but sessions that require concentration and attendance.
