Former Democratic Party MP Myslim Murrizi stated that Engjëll Agaçi should have been removed from the post of Secretary General of the Prime Minister's Office in 2022, at a time when the government approved 18 decisions within a short period regarding the Tirana incinerator.
Murrizi linked Agaç's recent departure to developments that, according to him, are related to possible investigations by SPAK. He said that the reaction of the Special Prosecution Office would have made the departure significant news if it had happened in 2022.
Murrizi stated that from the administration with around 200,000 employees, only one official has left by agreement. He considered this action to be ordered and linked to the possibility of verifications by the justice authorities.
The former MP also mentioned the issue of the incinerators in Elbasan and Fier, where arrest measures have been taken against former minister Lefter Koka, while for the Tirana incinerator, according to him, no measures have been taken.
In conclusion, Murrizi stated that an important development would be the launch of investigations by SPAK against Prime Minister Edi Rama.
Myslim Murrizi in "This Week" : Agaç's departure would have been news if SPAK had reacted in time in 2022, for Agaç, when 18 government decisions were signed in a quarter of an hour, for the Tirana incinerator.
Of the 200,000 employees that Rama has had, one has left, he left by agreement. After the departure of the director of the cabinet for health reasons, it was an ordered departure, telling her "get out of here and slowly approach the guys if SPAK will bring a piece of paper from you".
Despite all the kindness that SPAK prosecutors have shown towards Engjëll Agaçi, or the Tirana incinerator, they have not included him at all. Lefter Koka has been arrested 9 times for Elbasan and Fier, but no action has been taken against the Tirana incinerator.
Big news for Albanians would be if SPAK were to investigate Agaç's "godfather".
