'Lessons' to face opponents, 6 DP MPs do not attend Berisha's
Sali Berisha

Six MPs did not join the Democratic Party meeting to attend the 'lectures' of Sali Berisha and his loyalists.

There are 13 Democratic MPs who entered parliament for the first time from the ranks of the DP: Gjin Gjoni, Arjan Ndoja, Manjola Luku, Artan Luku, Kliti Hoti, Zija Ismaili, Denisa Vata, Bledi Himçi, Klodiana Çapja, Ivi Kaso, Fidel Kreka and Besart Xhaferi, some of whom are not participating in the meeting.

Those missing are Arjan Ndoja, who showed the first signs of 'rebellion' during the last session as he said that they will not see him knocking over tables, referring to the chaotic actions of his fellow MPs. Also absent are Manjola Luku, Kliti Hoti, Denisa Vata, Ivi Kaso with the argument that he has a commitment to the DP, as well as Besart Xhaferri with the justification that he has gone to the USA. Xhaferi has also signaled positions against Berisha after saying that he should leave if he does not substantiate the accusations that the May 11 elections were a farce.

In his speech, the leader of the DP gave several "lectures" to his youth, as he stated that the role of an MP is "the most excellent political university."

Berisha complained that MPs, despite their important role, have been left "with their hands in their pockets" as they do not have staff in parliament. According to him, it should not be the salaries for MPs but more should be done in this direction, which he says remains a problem.
