Movements in the districts, Rama moves Spiropali, Shalsi, Beci, Sako and Olta
SP Assembly

Taulant Balla takes over the political leadership of the capital instead of Elisa Spiropali, while the deputies are redistributed in the Tirana units and the leaders in several districts change.

The Socialist Party has started the engines for next year's local elections. At the SP Assembly meeting, Prime Minister Edi Rama decided on a broad reorganization of political leaders in the regions, bringing numerous movements at the national level and especially in Tirana.

In the Tirana district, Elisa Spiropali has been moved and Taulant Balla has been appointed, while the political leadership of the Municipality of Tirana has been entrusted to Ogerta Manastirliu. Changes have also been made in other districts, where in Durrës Emiriana Sako has been removed and Blendi Klosi has been sent. In Lezha, Ulsi Manja leaves and Ermal Nufi takes his place, while in Dibër the opposite move occurs, where Blendi Klosi leaves and Ulsi Manja is appointed. In Kukës, Eduard Shalsi leaves and Erjon Malaj is appointed, while in Shkodër, Benet Beci leaves and Enea Karakaçi is appointed.

In several other districts, political leaders have been confirmed in office, with Mirela Kumbaro continuing in Gjirokastra, Bledi Çuçi in Vlora, Niko Peleshi in Korça, Ervin Demo in Berat and Arbjan Mazniku in Elbasan, while Belinda Balluku continues in Fier.

The reorganization also affects the representation structure in Tirana, where the Socialist Party has made a new distribution of deputies in the administrative units, bringing also moves and replacements. In unit 1, Lindita Nikolla has been appointed, while Adea Pirdeni and Ervin Hoxha are leaving. In unit 2, Gent Gazheli, Delina Ibrahimaj and Olta Manjani will be, while Olta Xhaçka and Arben Pellumbi are leaving. In unit 3, Iris Luarasi and Edona Bilali have been appointed, while Klotilda Bushka, Ermonela Felaj and Delina Ibrahimaj are leaving.

Unit 4 will be represented by Damian Gjiknuri and Blerina Gjylameti, while unit 5 will be represented by Erion Braçe, Taulant Balla and Fatmir Xhafaj. Unit 6 includes Albana Koçiu, Endrit Yzeiraj and Megi Fino, while unit 7 includes Sofan Jaupaj and Enkelejd Musabelliu. Unit 8 includes Igli Hasani and Vilma Premti, while unit 9 includes Ogerta Manastirliu and Olti Muzaka, from which Mimi Kodheli is leaving.

Besfort Lamallari has been assigned to unit 10, Eduard Shalsi to unit 11, while Elisa Spiropali and Anila Denaj will be assigned to unit 13.

These moves come as part of preparations for local elections and aim to strengthen the structures on the ground, especially in Tirana, which remains one of the key constituencies for the Socialist Party. So far, the official reasons for these changes have not been made public, and it remains to be seen what impact they will have on the party's internal dynamics and next year's electoral race.
