The chairman of Nisma Thurje, Endri Shabani, spoke about the debate created about the "fate" of the mandate of the "Nisma Shqipëria Bëhet" coalition.
He also commented on the letter that Zeqir Kordhoni sent to the CEC, requesting that the resignation letter, which he claims he did not personally submit, be made available to him.
On the other hand, he explains that this obstacle is not in his favor and that it was not made by him, since if the mandate remains on the closed list, he will never receive it because there are 12 people in line.
He further adds that if the mandate passes to Lapaj, he can take it after the mayoral elections where Lapaj can compete.
"With the move that Zeqiri has made, if I take it further, I definitely no longer have any chance of getting a mandate in the next four years, because if the mandate remains on the closed list, I no longer have any chance. If Adriatik gets the mandate, a thousand things can happen in four years, he can run for the municipality, run for here, for there and the mandate passes to me.. If the mandate remains on the closed list, it never comes to my turn, because there are 12 people there.
The first on the closed list is Adriatik Lapaj's family, Ana Dajko. Second, why should I encourage someone who is at the bottom of the list when I could have encouraged the second on the list, who is my fiancée or sister or... The bottom line is that I have no interest. I have not changed anything from beginning to end. I believe that we have found an artifice to compete with open lists even in their system, because this is their way and their scheme.
I continue to insist, I have sent a letter to the CEC, I hope that the CEC will follow the precedents it has had, I understand that there will also be pressure from the old political class, because everyone is interested in the mandate not being transferred to the open list, it will not be transferred to the initiative, we will not receive a mandate. The risk is that it will remain on the closed list, but if it remains on the closed list, no one will try the scheme that we tried", he emphasized.
He claimed that Lapaj claims to be a candidate for the deputy's mandate.
" He aims to get the mandate and it belongs to him because he has the most votes ," he emphasized.
