The head of the Parliamentary Group of the Democratic Party Gazmend Bardhi today made strong accusations in the parliamentary session, who said that there are secret and coded conversations from SKY ECC, according to him, captured by the European law enforcement partners.
He stated that there are conversations about how police directors were appointed, including that of Shkodra, where he also mentioned the name of the current Minister of the Interior, Ervin Hoxha.
Bardhi said that "Mondi" used the Sky Ecc application, referring to the head of the Shkodra Police, Edmond Sulja.
Interior Minister Ervin Hoxha rejected Bardhi's claim. The latter stated that Edmond Sulaj has the rank of first officer and that he is a model officer who serves the country with dedication.
He adds that Sulaj was chosen according to merit and by competition.
"Mr. Mondi has the rank of first manager and holds the position of Police Director in Shkodër. I worked with Mr. Edmond Sulaj and he is one of the career officers who has shown ability and integrity throughout his career. He has 27 years of work. "Sulaj took office in 2023. Sulaj was elected according to merit through competition," said the Minister of the Interior.
"I did not know that Pëllumb Gjoka has added spokespersons. You also changed the law to appoint the head of the Guard", replied Bardhi.
