Democratic Party MP Tomor Alizoti has commented on the absence of Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti at the summits held in Tirana.
According to him, the reason for Kurt's absence is because he does not find warmth referring to the attitudes of his counterpart Rama in several cases.
Alizoti said that Rama sees Kurti as a rival for Albanian influence in the Balkans, stressing that his attitudes are totally against those of Kurti.
"Kurti finds no warmth here after Rama's previous behavior. I think Rama sees Kurt as a rival for Albanian influence in the Balkans. Kurti is a national player, while Rama is an international player, so he doesn't give much importance to it. Serbia is very pampered by Europe and Vučić cannot come here and pretend that nothing happened.
Rama's attitudes are totally against Kurt. The whole perception in Albania is that Rama is against Kurt. Kurti joins people who have some intelligence and better represent Kosovo's interests, and he has some rights of his own to be absent from these summits that have turned into fashion parades" , he said to "Open".
