Democratic Party MP, Luciano Boçi, during his speech in the Assembly, focused on the agreement signed with AADF for the creation of the National Agency for Educational Services, accusing the government of presenting it as an American institution.
Boçi stated that, according to a response from the US embassy, the AADF is an independent institution and not a structure under the supervision of the US State Department. According to him, the government is using this issue for propaganda, while he described the project as clientelistic.
"Mr. Shehaj is demanding the implementation of the regulation, the same thing I requested last session when I also received the exemption. I heard the Prime Minister yesterday, who in a proud meeting, determined that the educational services agency has become an American institution and we anti-Americans have opposed such a thing. But there is a response from the American embassy regarding AADF, and the request is from a citizen of Durrës interested in the TID project. And in the response it is determined that AADF is an independent institution where the State Department has no supervisory role. So leave the tales with Americans, because it has simply been taken by a private person, a client of the Minister of Education. He is buying a telescope in Arizona, we are taking it to Elbasan and we are telling all of Albania that we are taking NASA to the Zaranika bridge," said Boçi.
