Democratic Party leader Sali Berisha has responded to Niko Pelesh, who apologized for including dictator Enver Hoxha among the national figures who could be honored during the month of October.
Calling it a hypocritical apology, Berisha accused Pelesh of putting dictator Enver Hoxha on the agenda on the orders of Edi Rama.
"You opened the session with hypocritical apologies, you put Hoxha on the agenda on Rama's orders. It's not the library's fault. There is a law that condemns communist propaganda for Enver Hoxha, there is a parliamentary resolution, it's not the library's business. Assembly resolutions are binding. Imagine what could happen if Hitler entered the Bundestag," Berisha said during the session.
