Lefter Maliqi, who is running on the open list of the 'Greater Albania Alliance' coalition in the Berat District, predicts the outcome of the May 11 elections, not only in this district, but also nationwide.
In an interview with Ora News, Maliqi said that the united opposition will win more than 71 mandates on May 11.
"We are more motivated for a surprise victory in Berat. We have had permanent contacts, ever since I was a candidate for Kuçova and through manipulation and a legal battle that is still ongoing, this municipality was robbed by the socialists," he said.
According to Maliqi, in the Berat district, the opposition coalition led by Sali Berisha will emerge as the leading force with 4 mandates, out of 7 that this district has.
"We will come out as the first force and we are convinced that we will come out 4:3, a surprise victory for the first time in the Berat district. The united opposition exceeds 71 mandates. There is no question that we will get more than 71 mandates, starting from Tirana," he said.
