Analyst Lorenc Vangjeli has commented on the situation within the Democratic Party, which continues to remain tense. He said that PD must still suffer the curse of Sokol Olldash.
Vangjeli stated that most likely Olldashi would have been declared the head of the party if the statutory legitimacy had been respected at the time when Olldashi ran in 2013 for the head of the DP.
He continued by saying that the history of DP and Albanian politics would have been different if Olldashi had been part of politics.
"It is not political, but in the Balkans it is heard and believed a lot. We recall that, a few months after the race for the head of the Democratic Party, the former deputy, Sokol Olldashi, died on the evening of November 20, 2013 in a car accident.
