The legal secretary of the Democratic Party, Indrit Sefa, has given details about the presidency's decision to expel 11 deputies from the parliamentary group.
In his reaction, Sefa emphasizes that the decision was taken a year ago, while he also ironized the reactions of the deputies.
Among other things, in his post, he writes that the DP carefully administers all decision-making and everyone's positions held in the internal bodies of the DPSH on all issues, such as this case.
"As a function of transparency and public debate regarding the reflection of several decision-making bodies of the Democratic Party of Albania over the years, I want to emphasize that on 26.09.23 the updated list of the PDSH Parliamentary Group was communicated to the Assembly of Albania.
The surprise that has captured some deputies is as much to laugh as it is to cry. Anyone who today thinks that they have the absolute truth should not forget the decision-making of the Presidency of the PDSH on 10.01.2022, where with their votes they expelled and suspended the same deputies who are crying about the problem today. Anyone who does not know the legitimate bodies of the DPSH and is himself excluded whenever the decision-making does not suit him, I do not believe that he should worry.
The Democratic Party has done nothing more than alleviate the Hamletian dilemma that has occupied these MPs for a long time and has given them the opportunity to be legally, physically and mentally where they have long chosen to be. Fortunately, the Democratic Party very carefully administers all decision-making and everyone's positions held in the internal bodies of the PDSH on all issues, such as this case. Historical memory is a great and necessary asset that helps us not to make the mistakes of the past", writes Sefa.
