Lulzim Basha has reacted in relation to the interceptions published thanks to the decoding of the SKY application, as far as the SPAK file for the operation 'Metamorfoza' is concerned, where the links of crime with official structures come to light.
Basha said that as evidenced by the interceptions of "SKY", the contract between politics and crime is a great wound for our order and security. Among other things, he emphasizes that PD is persistent in the cause of cleaning up politics.

In Dibër, with the leadership structures of the Democratic Party of this District, we started the work for the preparation of the National Assembly and the reorganization of every branch of our political force, to tend to the confrontation with the corrupt power of Edi Rama and the construction of the alternative, with the inclusion wide range of party members, citizens, intellectuals, women, young men and women, entrepreneurs and interest groups in forging the future that Albanians deserve.
As evidenced by the "SKY" interceptions, the contract between politics and crime is a great wound for our order and security. We, as the Democratic Party, have faced it, denounced it and challenged it in the service of the public interest, therefore we must thank our deputies for this righteous stand. For this reason, we are persistent in our cause for the purification of politics, as those who are related to crime cannot have a place in the country's representative institutions!
The Civic Alliance for Democracy will be our coalition to free the economy and advance constitutional changes by enabling:
Open lists;
Vetting in politics;
Limitation of mandates;
Diaspora vote;
The election of the President by the people.
All together, beyond political differences, we can change the failed governing philosophy of the current government, which impoverishes the citizens and enriches the rulers and their clients.
Albania has vital changes in the political system, which enable the control and balance of powers, transparency and accountability to the public, because flagrant corruption such as that of the phantom Incinerators, the bankruptcy of public enterprises, the penetration of crime into state structures, the alienation of property through the so-called "strategic investors", theft of European funds of the IPARD program; as well as dozens of other injustices of this clique, require an energetic intervention, which not only punishes the abusers, or has a round of chairs, but enables a real change in the functioning of the state and in the renewal of democracy.
