The letter is an open letter addressed to the imams of Tirana, and it is also addressed to the believers.
"Recently, our city is witnessing an important change in the center of Tirana. A 100-story, 300-meter-high building will be built in one of the last remaining flower gardens in the city center, where Tirana's historical bazaar used to be. Beyond the urban aspect, this project raises a number of important questions for us as a Muslim community, since this tower will be built on a property of our Community, about 2500 square meters, that is, on a waqf property, and for this there is no transparency. although the value of the part built on the property of KMSH is estimated to be between 400 and 600 million euros", it is emphasized in the pamphlet published in the newspaper that is in opposition to the leaders of KMSH.
However, on the official website of the community there is no position on these accusations. The current president of KMSH, Bujar Spahiu, on the other hand, has recently undertaken an important diplomatic tour, in two important Arab countries such as Egypt and Saudi Arabia. On this tour, Spahiu was received by the highest leaders who deal with religious issues in Cairo and Riyadh. A signal that clearly shows that these powerful Muslim states do not share the same attitude with Erdogan, regarding the leaders of the KMSH.
