The President of the Republic, Bajram Begaj, has congratulated Muslim believers on the holiday of Eid al-Adha from Mecca, the holy city where millions of believers from all over the world have settled in prayer and humility.
In his messages, the head of state wishes more health and harmony to Albanian families, while emphasizing that their holiday recalls the values of faith, family and solidarity.
Begaj emphasized that a society becomes stronger when people share not only their joy, but also their pain, only for themselves.
"Dear Muslim believers,
From Mecca, the holy city of faith and peace, on this significant day of Eid al-Adha, I convey my warmest wishes for more prosperity, health, harmony and goodness in your families!
Eid al-Adha is a reminder of sacrifice, devotion to God, solidarity with one another, and care for those most in need. Society becomes stronger when people share not only joy, but also pain and responsibility for one another.
Holidays like Eid al-Adha remind us of the values we have kept alive for centuries: faith, family, hospitality, and respect for each other.
I am particularly honored to host this celebration in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia at the invitation of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, in the place where millions of believers from around the world unite in prayer, humility, and peace.
