Congratulations on the opening of the new school year were conveyed by the President of the Republic, His Excellency Bajram Begaj, from his hometown school in the village of Gosë.
President Begaj met with students, teachers, and parents during his visit to this school, from where he wished them success in their learning and education, emphasizing the importance of schools in shaping the individual and society and in cultivating human values.
"A strong school shapes knowledgeable citizens. Knowledgeable citizens build a developed society, a bright future, and a strong Albania."
I wish, believe and hope that you are a generation that loves the Albanian language, has a passion for knowledge, embraces technology, appreciates and respects each other."
The President of the Republic conveyed a special message to the first grade students, with whom he shared his experience at the Gosë village school, stating that this is where the foundation of knowledge begins, the first lessons, a rich experience and new friendships are built.
"The beginning of the school year is always a great emotion, a starting point that marks a new chapter in your life and that of thousands of students."
While emphasizing the integration of schools with technological innovations, the President of the Republic emphasized in his message the importance of schools in preserving human values:
"School is not just a place where we learn subjects and books, it is a place where we shape values. Every September is a challenge, a responsibility and an opportunity for everyone: students, teachers, parents and society. Technology and social networks are powerful tools, but they cannot replace respect, friendship and love for each other."
The Head of State emphasized the importance of mutual respect in school, so that no one feels excluded, and also emphasized that this education must start from the family. Despite the challenges, he wished the students to live their school years with work and passion, by being seekers of knowledge.
These years are your greatest treasure, they are the success of your future. Pay attention to them, learn with dedication, but also with joy. Be curious, ask, search, study, discover and dream every day. Make friends. Enjoy your life with the most beautiful and true friendships of life.
He expressed gratitude to the teachers for their noble mission: "Teaching is a profession of passion and sacrifice, it is a profession of life, a profession that builds the future of the nation. Your contribution remains indelible."
President Begaj devoted special importance in this message to the Albanian language.
"As President, I have paid special attention to the Albanian language and alphabet. I was truly delighted when I learned from your principal that you are among the school champions in this subject. At a time when technology prevails and image is all-powerful, the Albanian language remains the key to connectivity and long-term success."
