Opposition leader Sali Berisha has left the Democratic Party headquarters and, together with supporters who were waiting for him outside, has set off towards the Prime Minister's Office building. As in previous national protests, Berisha and his supporters are walking the route from the DP headquarters to the Prime Minister's Office where the rally will be held.
It has been reported that there will be no speeches at today's protest, just a rally. Opposition leaders have not spoken about a specific scenario, saying they have left it up to the protesters.
However, the scenario of today's protest is expected to be similar to the February 28 rally, where opposition protesters marched through the streets of Tirana.
During their march, protesters threw Molotov cocktails through the streets of Tirana, burning trash cans, culminating in Molotov cocktails being thrown at the villa of former dictator Enver Hoxha, in the former Blloku area.
