"The protest called by Berisha, not the behavior of the democrats",

The member of the DP National Council, Mirlinda Çollaku, spoke about the protest that Sali Berisha announced before the Supreme Court on December 27, when the decision on the seal of the Democratic Party is expected to be made.

She said that she does not expect anything to happen other than to legitimize the decision of the Court of Appeal that overturned Agron Zhukri's decision. According to her, after the decision is given, the parties will no longer have an alibi regarding their unwillingness to cooperate.

"It reminds me of Erion Veliaj's protests in front of the court. I would not like it to be the way the Democrats behave. As for the court's decision, I don't expect anything strange to happen, I expect the appeal decision that overturned the decision of Agron Zhukri, which was illegal, to be legitimized.

From a political point of view, I wish that the parties will remove the alibi that has existed until today that it is not known to whom the legitimacy of DP belongs. This alibi must be removed. The Supreme Court should express itself on this matter, this discourse should no longer exist between us and be only part of the will of who will cooperate with others" - said Çollaku in a Skype connection for "Report Tv".

As for the absence of the Democratic Party in the Assembly, on December 21 when the vote was taken to remove the immunity of Sali Berisha, the member of the National Council of the Democratic Party stated that the absence is related to the fact that normal plenary sessions have not been held in the Parliament for months.

"We were not in the parliament due to the fact that there has been no parliament there for two months, but it is a circus arena where the PD has not seen fit to be present. I think that DP has chosen to speak with concrete actions. They have been busy for 2 months since they coincided with the judicial process against Berisha. We have seen a funny environment, where Rama was able to pass the budget for 8 minutes of session", she added.

According to Çollak, it is not just a coincidence that such behavior in the plenary sessions coincides with the judicial process against Berisha, implying that all this is done for the personal interests of the head of Reestablishment.
