After the withdrawal of Jorgo Goro from the management of the municipality of Himara, Fredi Beleri reacted from prison.
Through a public statement, he congratulates Prime Minister Rama for the decision taken, calling it a positive step. Beleri also says that Rama finally realized that he is the winner of the elections.
" Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama took two very important steps towards reality. Seven months after the municipal elections, he learned that the citizens of Himara elected me as mayor and sent home the previous mayor who was his chosen one. He didn't actually resign, but he gave up his long-lost post. After all, he was a puppet. I welcome Edi Rama's important steps towards reality ", says Beleri.
According to Beler, whoever takes the position of interim mayor must be one of the councilors of the municipal faction with which they won the elections. " He cannot be unrelated to the vote of the people of Himara against the last municipal elections ," says Beleri.
