The "Albania Becomes" movement is holding a powerful protest in front of the Prime Minister's Office in Tirana, on the 28th day of resistance against the government.
With banners and calls for change, hundreds of citizens have joined the call for the removal of Prime Minister Edi Rama and the end of what protesters describe as a corrupt regime.
Actor Genti Kame spoke at the protest scene, addressing different segments of society with a strong appeal: "Stand up."
Then the leader of the movement, Adriatik Lapaj, spoke, accusing the government of fraud and complete failure. He also mentioned the US action in Venezuela.
" Today we are on the 28th day of civic resistance against theft! Today the world is with us, because across the ocean a dictator fell, on this ocean an autocrat faces us! Friends, brothers, mothers, sisters, young people, grandparents, parents! This is a confrontation that you brought us into and we believe, like all of you, that this is a right path! We are facing the one who came to power to bring us water. Do we have water today, yes or no? We are facing the one who came to power to establish law and order. Do we have law and order today, yes or no? We are facing the one who came to dismantle the model of Sali Berisha's oligarchy. We have a dismantled oligarchy today, yes or no? We are facing the one who came today to fight crime and drugs. Do we have drugs today, yes or no? ", he said.
