Aulon Kalaja, a candidate for deputy in the May 11 elections in the Durrës district, managed to receive over 8,100 votes, but was still unable to secure the deputy's mandate.

He said he is demanding a recount of votes in the Durrës district, emphasizing that his and his colleagues' votes were stolen, adding that he has submitted the violations to SPAK.

My votes were stolen, which are clean. The campaign cost me somewhere around 6 thousand euros. I did not cooperate with gangs, I did not have gangs behind me.
