Socialist Party MP Eduart Shalsi has reacted to the post of DP leader Sali Berisha, who said that the reason for yesterday's injury in Kukës was Eduart Shalsi.
29-year-old Elvis Halilaj, (cousin of the Mayor of Kukes, Albert Halilaj) was wounded with a gun by Sebastian Muçmata, brother of the Director of Services at the Kukes Municipality (Zenel Muçmata).
In his reaction, Berisha said that Shalsi provoked bloodshed in Kukës and Tropoja in the clan of the mayor of Kukës, Albert Halili.
The SP MP reacted harshly, calling Berisha a political scumbag, exhausted not by age, but by being non grata. Eduart Shalsi denied having anything to do with the incident, stating that Berisha attempted to sow hatred and enmity among Albanians with his banal and vulgar language.

Bent over - not by the weight of age, but by the stigma of "non grata"; exhausted - not by political battles, but by the shame with which he has covered himself and his party; mentally shaken by the abandonment of those who once supported him; very scared by the fact that for the first time in his life he is facing justice, Sali Berisha tried yesterday to involve me, by giving his post a disgusting title, in an event in Kukës, the circumstances of which I have no connection whatsoever.
It is this political scum that blackmailed the justice system when its government killed 4 innocent citizens in the middle of the boulevard or took 28 lives in Gërdec. It is this political scum that has sought to sow hatred and enmity among Albanians, always using banal and vulgar language.
I do not think Sali Berisha deserves to be answered seriously. Even at the height of his power, I considered him a man completely incapable of governing Albania; uncultured to serve as a model for Albanians; unprepared to lead the country; primitive and tribal in behavior and completely incapable of giving speeches that would inspire people; completely immersed in ignorance, something he was never aware of.
"At the end of his life, he is condemned to realize how shameful his end is, and this is the nightmare he must learn to live with for now and for the foreseeable future," the SP MP wrote.
