The Elbasan district is one of the surprises of the May 11 elections, where Edi Rama's Socialists count 10 out of 14 mandates for deputies produced in this district, while the PD-ASHM coalition only receives 4 mandates.
Even the Socialists themselves were surprised, because based on their own projections, they could get 9 mandates in Elbasan.
But who are the candidates from the open list of the SP who are waiting to receive the mandate of the deputy, while for the Democrats everything remains on the closed list. Even with the election result, the DP has lost one mandate from the closed list, which in the Elbasan District, included 5 names.
According to official CEC data, 270 out of 508 preferential ballot boxes have been counted, with Sara Mile receiving the most votes so far.
The winning list also includes Sajmir Hasalla and Olsi Komici, while MPs Shkëlqim Bullari, Luan Duzha, Desantila Tahiraj and Florenc Spaho were left out.
