Former Democratic Party MP, Ervin Salianji, has reacted harshly to Prime Minister Rama's proposal for a new government.
He has described the new government as a "government of sect and power," which brings nothing positive to the citizens and the future of Albania.
In a post on social media, Salianji states that every appointment and proposal made by Rama aims only to perpetuate personal rule and eliminate any space for institutional control.
"The proposal of the old government, consumed by scandals and abuses, does not bring anything positive for the citizens and Albania! This is a government of sect and power, not of the citizens," writes Salianji.
He emphasizes the lack of any vision for the economy, security, and well-being of citizens in the new government approach.
"No vision for the economy, no word about the security, well-being and hope of Albanians! Albania does not need more power in the hands of one man, but for strong institutions, a developed economy and security for every family," the democrat added.
Salianji calls for the mobilization of the opposition and citizens, describing this moment as critical to prevent the continuation of a governing model that, according to him, focuses only on political survival and not on the public interest.
"This is the moment for the opposition and citizens to no longer accept a government that thinks only about its own political survival and not about the future of the country," he stressed.
