Edi Rama seems to be walking with clear goals. Erdogan is not only his friend, but it seems that he also has an idol. After yesterday's statement that the SP intends to get more than 100 mandates in the Parliament as in 1997, today it has shown its new ambition. Rama presented the "Albania we want" platform, where he said that by 2030 he expects the SP to have 1 million active voters.
Edi Rama : Today we don't measure where we were, we measure where we want to be in 2030. That's why we need an even greater energy, a SP that is a reflection of the ambition not only of ourselves but of society for Albania. We need a party that is a mirror party of all the forces of progress in the country, embodied in the face, mind and soul of all those who are part of these forces.
To the forces of entrepreneurship, universities, rural labor forces, which in a significant part are the supporting forces of SP. Our voters are over 700,000, our ambition is to aim for SP 2030 to be the party of 1 million active Albanians. We are ready to wait with open arms and offer you to the destination you think about yourself. I believe that at the end of this process we may have hundreds of applicants.
The number of deputies of the SP team is much smaller than this number. The battle of next spring and the effort to rise to the top of 2030 needs more people than the parliamentary group.
