Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha, after the Democratic Party Presidency meeting, issued strong accusations against Prime Minister Edi Rama, describing him as a "puppet of George Soros" and the most discredited leader in Europe.
"Edi Rama is a fraud. We did not turn him into a puppet of George Soros, he made this choice himself," said Berisha, emphasizing that the DP has always been against Soros' doctrine, including globalization, drugs, and censorship.
According to him, Rama has undertaken efforts to attack him personally, including paying 150,000 euros for space in the "New York Times", where, according to Berisha, an article against him was published.
"This has backfired, as yesterday one of the two strategists of Donald Trump's grandest comeback declared to the 'New York Times' that he came to Albania to continue Trump's work, to make Albania great again, and that Edi Rama is a puppet of George Soros," he said, referring to Chris LaCivita's recent interview in the NYT.
