Prime Minister Edi Rama has gone back to Vlora, the city from where he launched the 'operation' to purge municipalities of deputy mayors, directors and administrators of units.
This time, Rama has chosen to go by military helicopter, while it is not known what message he may convey from Vlora.
What is known is that after May 11, Vlora issued ultimatums to the Mayors to purge their staffs, starting with the directors and then continuing with the deputy mayors and administrators.
Likewise, in Vlora, he gave the example of the confiscation of a building in progress that had violated the construction permit, while in Theth, IKMT's demolition teams demolished buildings erected without a permit.
We now have to wait and see what message the Prime Minister will convey, whether he will be satisfied with the departures from the Municipality of Vlora and to what extent his orders for cleaning public spaces have been implemented.
