"Rama exploded the bomb", Curri singles out the 'detail'
Arjan Curri

Curri said that having a Parliament with 101 deputies, out of the 140 it currently has, would mean that the country would be governed by two parties.

Analyst Arjan Curri has described Edi Rama's statement to reduce the number of members of Parliament as a special detail from the Socialist Party's National Assembly.

Curri said that having a parliament with 101 members, down from the current 140, would mean that the country would be governed by two parties. He sees this as an extension of Berisha's hand.

"Rama dropped the bomb today, he envisions a constitutional reform that reduces the parliament by 101 deputies. This means that this country is heading towards a country governed by two parties and small parties disappear. It is a '2008 2.0', an extension of the hand to Berisha ," Curri said.

Meanwhile, Edi Rama's proposal to dismiss Erion Veliaj and run for mayor of the capital, Ogerta Manastirliu, is seen as a 'political burial' of Veliaj.

"Veli aj was finally buried politically today. There are two extensions of Veliaj left, Ervin Dema and Toni Gogu, who apparently was rewarded... I think that Gogu and Dema, who were conceived as Veliaj's people, are returning to the government, but smaller ," he said in Top Story.
