Prime Minister Edi Rama has reacted for the first time to the decision of the United States of America to suspend visas with 75 countries around the world, including Albania and Kosovo.
This Sunday, in the second episode of the sixth season of the podcast "Flasim", Rama explained that the Trump Administration has only suspended visas for work permits in the United States, not student, tourist, business or other visas.
According to him, American authorities have noticed the phenomenon of obtaining visas for tourism or business and then citizens of these countries have not respected the deadlines, but have remained in America to work.

On January 14, the US State Department announced that it had decided to suspend immigration visas for 75 countries. Among the countries being 'punished' by the State Department are Albania and Kosovo.
A State Department memo instructs consular officials to deny visas under existing law while the department reevaluates screening and verification procedures.
