Prime Minister Edi Rama has made public the new call for the National Internship Program, offering young people a concrete opportunity to take their first steps in public administration.
The program aims to engage young people aged 21–29 in a 3-month practical experience, from September to December 2025, in state institutions and agencies.
-600 internships will be available in public administration and state institutions.
-Interns will receive dedicated training from ASPA (Albanian School of Public Administration).
-During the internship period, financial compensation will also be provided.
-After completing the internship, 250 young people will have the opportunity to benefit from a 1-year employment contract in the administration.
The application deadline is August 10, 2025.
This call comes at a time when the government is carrying out a reorganization at the local level.
A few days ago, Rama dismissed 21 directors of the Vlora municipality, holding them responsible for mismanaging the territory and tolerating unauthorized construction.
Along the same lines, he has also requested verification of the management structures in Fier and Durrës, while warning of penalties for all those who have allowed abuses of public spaces.
