Prime Minister Edi Rama, during his speech to Tirana municipality employees in Skanderbeg Square, also spoke about the arrest of Erion Veliaj.
Unlike previous reactions and attacks on SPAK, this time Rama said that the case of Tirana Mayor Erion Veliaj belongs to justice.
But he further emphasized that attention to Tirana will be maximum until justice makes a decision on Veliaj.
"Without any shame, they say, you are all the same. 7-8 neon lights, fixed, no more. Tirana looked at night, like a cemetery, a city of mural tombs. It is not up to me to say whether Lali Eri is innocent or guilty, regardless of what we think here, my burden is to stay in office, to support the independence of the judicial bodies. The machinery of the Tirana Municipality should not be turned off, to run 24 hours. Until the mayor's issue is addressed, my attention to the municipality will be uninterrupted. No one and nothing, no owl and no species of the swamp, can cover the sun of the colossal transformation of our Tirana with a sieve of sludge," he emphasized.
