It seems that Prime Minister Edi Rama's tour of meetings with the diaspora has failed. Apart from meetings in Greece and Italy, it seems that there are no more meetings in other countries. The meeting in London failed successfully and Rama went to see the final of the Champions League, as it seems that there will be no meetings in Germany either.
It was Edi Rama himself who announced it in the SP Assembly gathered online. He was caught up in the fact that since the European championship is being held, a meeting cannot be held in Germany.
" In Greece and Italy, the meeting was not just an end in itself, nor just a meeting without continuation, but it was also a knock on the door of the Albanians of Europe, beyond the walls of the hall, where a significant work has begun for completely reenergized the network of members and sympathizers of the SP. The tour will continue in September, due to the premature cattle in London, it became a problem to get the hall that we had booked before. An election situation, it was normal to avoid a meeting, however it is a political meeting. Likewise, since the prediction or preparation to make the Dusseldorf match, very close to the match of the national team, we did not want to create ideas of mixing the two things. Further in his speech, Rama announced that on July 20 the SP Congress will meet. The socialist leader also expressed his satisfaction with the new admissions, stating that there has been an increase in memberships.
" The main reason for this meeting is to approve the decision to call the electoral congress of the SP on July 20 after the end of the election process for the congress. Currently we can be encouraged by the fact that in this process of re-energizing the party we have had a significant increase in real membership, which means active membership, while we have also had a significant participation in the elections that took place on the principle of one member a vote for the delegates of the next SP congress ", he said among other things.
The Prime Minister also announced that he will change the methodology he has been following regarding the determination of the list of candidates for the 2025 parliamentary elections.
