Dashnor Sula, a DP MP who did not run for another term on May 11, expressed regret that this party and its allies lost the elections.
Sula in the Report TV studio, referring to the results of several ballot boxes that have been counted so far, mainly in Vora, said that he feels disappointed by the Democratic Party and its result.
He said that the responsibility lies with every democracy, but especially with those who lead. The MP said that you cannot approach the electorate if you have a ruined and unreliable image.
Sula said that the Democratic Party sleeps for 4 years and goes out for 3 months asking voters for their votes, which, according to him, results in a losing result.
"I want to express my regret first and foremost to the Democratic Party for the opposition. From this moment on, every Democrat, from the first to the last, will have to take responsibility, because the result is more than clear in my opinion."
I express my regret because in my political life I have tried never to lie, never to deceive my sympathizers, my supporters and all democrats. Because I have been truthful with them, I have had good electoral results.
I believe that the value of a politician is measured by the image he has as a political individual. If you have a ruined image, a fraud, someone who doesn't keep his word, someone who has no political activity, who doesn't convey a message as a working man.
"In Albania, you have to work for 4 years to make the citizens work for you. These 4 years are spent sleeping and after 3 months they go to the citizens," said Sula.
