Tirana will welcome for the first time a Summit on February 28 and 29, dedicated entirely to Ukraine, just a few days from the second anniversary of the start of the Russian aggression in Kiev.

The Ukrainian leader will be present tomorrow, where some of the highest officials of Brussels, the leaders of the countries of the Western Balkans and Southeastern Europe will also participate.
On his agenda, the President of Ukraine is expected to have several bilateral meetings, including with Prime Minister Edi Rama, President Bajram Begaj and Parliament Speaker Lindita Nikolla, although the details of the visit have not yet been officially confirmed due to the high level of security on which this visit will take place.
The President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, will also be part of this summit, through a video message, as Prime Minister Edi Rama himself announced from Ankara on February 20.
The works are expected to take place in the premises of the Palace of Congresses, where the welcoming ceremony will be held, while at the end of the closed sessions for the media there will also be a joint press conference.
On February 29, it will be followed by another summit, that of the Western Balkans, where the leaders of the 6 countries of the region will participate.
The focus of this meeting will be on the economic growth plan for the countries of the Western Balkans and the path to European integration, while the president of the European Commission, Ursula Von Der Leyen, is also expected to be present.
