PD MP, Saimir Korreshi, who was ambushed by Lulzim Basha's supporters on the evening of June 6, has told the media the behind-the-scenes of the meeting with the former president in one of the halls of plenary sessions.
"We were irritated, we asked Basha for an explanation, we told him you took people out. He also denied it, I don't have a finger here, I don't know them", says Korreshi.
Lulzim Basha could not soften the anger of the rebel deputies, who are convinced that the return of the former president is a second death for the Democratic Party.
"If we feel sorry for the Democratic Party, Basha, Berisha, Alibeaj should not run", says the deputy.
The revival of this political force, for him, will not happen with the acceleration of the elections for the new president of the Democrats.
"We were attacked by Basha's supporters. You will no longer have a job here, what will we do to you? The attack started inside the meeting. It was well organized, because inside someone said Gazment Bardhi and the deputies are taking them to Sali Berisha".
The democratic deputy does not consider himself a soldier of any president, and the Democratic Party proposes to have this spirit, independent of the interests of the president who will be elected.
