Socialist MP Erion Braçe has sent a message to Albin Kurti through Facebook after Kosovo considered the tomatoes it bought from Albania to be dangerous and requested additional checks.
Brace releases videos of red peppers on a farm and says they are zero waste production.
He also told him that this production from Albanian farmers goes not only to Kosovo, but to every European supermarket.
"After the news about the tomatoes and the verification done in Kosovo for them, I want to tell them very clearly. This is zero waste production my friend Albin. It will definitely arrive in Kosovo. We must understand that production with zero waste goes to every country in Europe, not only Kosovo", Braçe said.
This reaction of Braça came after Kosovo raised doubts about the tomatoes imported from Albania that they may contain high amounts of hormones, which are dangerous for human health.
The Food and Veterinary Agency in Kosovo is waiting for the results of the laboratory tests of the samples sent for the tomatoes that were imported from Albania, and other actions will be taken from the results.
