Prime Minister Edi Rama announced today, through an announcement on social networks, that on May 26, the Albania - European Union Intergovernmental Conference will be held in Brussels, which will seal the successful conclusion of the introductory phase and open the final phase of negotiations for Albania's membership in the European Union.
As he continues for days with news about the closure of negotiations, Edi Rama has not spared ironies and accusations against the opposition, who according to him want the isolation of the country.
"In fact, to discredit Albania in the eyes of our partners, wherever possible, gather and throw up and down to seek punishment, blockade, isolation for Albania, leaving a grain of fame like no other opposition in the history of European integrations of countries that are today part of the European Union or intend to join it. They said that the European path was blocked, they said that Albania was finally punished, they said that our government was completely isolated. They were lied to, they were lied to, because always by that shallow and evil mind of theirs and, in the end, in the end, they lost with shame and Albania won again with effort, with dignity and with pride. Thus, on May 26, in Brussels, the Intergovernmental Conference Albania - European Union seals the successful conclusion of the introductory phase and opens the final phase of negotiations for Albania's membership in the European Union. According to him, the opposition attempted to damage the country's image in the international arena, not only with statements but also with violent protests with Molotov cocktails in Tirana, but also to block Albania's membership.
“Ndërkohë që “molotovarët” e Tiranës u lëshuan të dëshpëruar në një ofensivë të pashoqe energjie negative, u lëshuan rrugëve për ta djegur medoemos Shqipërinë në sytë e botës, gëzonin si fëmijët kur fotot e kazanëve me flakë apo të molotovëve e flakadanëve që hidheshin nëpër Tiranë bënin xhiro në median e botës. Mblidh benzinë e hidh bombë artizanale me vandalë të paguar, u lëshuan po ashtu kanaleve e portaleve të Shqipërisë për t’i helmuar shqiptarët. Mblidh e hidh jargë urrejtjeje politike, pasqyrë më pasqyrë, u lëshuan nëpër Europë me thasë balte e llumi proverbial krejt edhe ajo çka ndodhi me të ashtuquajturën vizitë treditore në Ministrinë e Jashtme në Berlin. Në fakt, për ta zhgarravitur Shqipërinë në sytë e partnerëve tanë, kudo ku ishte e mundur, mblidhu e hidhu lart e poshtë për të kërkuar ndëshkim, bllokim, izolim për Shqipërinë, duke lënë kokrrën e namit si asnjë opozitë tjetër në historinë e integrimeve europiane të vendeve që sot janë pjesë e Bashkimit Europian apo synojnë të bashkohen me të”, u shpreh Rama.
Sipas kryeministrit gjithashtu një lajm i mirë është edhe disbursimi i 49 milionë eurove të tjera në kuadër të Planit të Rritjes për Ballkanin Perëndimor.
“Tjetër mbështetje financiare e Bashkimit Europian ka ardhur nga Brukseli, ndërsa është vendosur çelja e fazës përmbyllëse të negociatave, është njëkohësisht vijuar edhe me çeljen e një tjetër fondi për Shqipërinë në kuadër të Planit të Rritjes për Ballkanin Perëndimor. 49 milionë euro, të cilat e çojnë mbështetjen deri këtu në 212 milionë euro, ose shifra më e lartë e përftuar nga vendet e rajonit prej Planit të Rritjes. Plani i Rritjes është një plan financimi mbi bazë rezultatesh dhe janë rezultate të certifikuara nga Komisioni Europian, të padiskutueshme në objektivitetin e tyre, sepse, ndryshe nga sa e përflasin ditë e natë ata që në fund gjithmonë humbasin, Shqipëria jonë, Shqipëria europiane që po ndërtojmë, është një histori suksesi, një histori që nuk shkruhet me britma, nuk bëhet me shpifje apo me molotovë, por me vizion, me punë, me durim të madh dhe me përkushtim hap pas hapi, reformë pas reforme”, theksoi Rama.
Por çfarë nuk u thotë Rama qyetarëve shqiptarë, sëbashku me Berishën?
Lajmi që u shit si sukses i madh nga qeveria Rama, miratimi i raportit IBAR që hap rrugë në të ardhmen për mbylljen e kapitujve të negociatave mes Shqipërisë dhe BE-së është shoqëruar me kushte shtesë dhe monitorim më të fortë mbi procesin.
Për të kuptuar se ku ndodhemi në këtë proces është një krahasim me një vend tjetër kandidat, Malin e Zi, që ndodhet pak më para nesh në rrugën drejt Brukselit.
Në fakt Podgorica e ka kaluar këtë fazë para nesh duke e miratuar raportin IBAR në qershor 2024.
The changes are reflected in the final version of the IBAR report, approved on May 21, where a series of new observations and criteria have been added compared to the draft of February 2. While Prime Minister Edi Rama has not commented publicly on these developments, DP leader Sali Berisha has focused on the critical parts of the document.
In television appearances, Berisha compared the initial draft with the final version of the report, highlighting the changes made after discussions in the Coela group over the past few months.
In the updated document, corruption in the country is described as a “fundamental concern,” a harsher formulation than that used in the first draft, which referred to it as a “serious concern.” The report also calls for the conduct of elections with equal standards and mentions for the first time the influence of patronage in electoral processes.
Another point highlighted is related to the attacks on SPAK and the judicial system. The report mentions pressures and statements from high-level politicians against justice institutions, which is interpreted as a reference to the Prime Minister's positions.
The document also includes a request to lift the immunity of Belinda Balluku, referring to the Venice Commission's standards on parliamentary immunity. This request has been supported in particular by countries such as Germany and the Netherlands.
However, although the report lists a number of problems, it has paved the way for Albania to advance further in the European integration process. According to critics, both Rama and Berisha have chosen to extract only parts of their political interest from the document, without presenting its entire content.

O zoteri mos rri rrugeve po hajde ul bythen dhe merru me keto pune. Sa nuk eshte vone. Nuk di cfare te perrallisin ata qe te rrine afer, por mos e le enen te mbushet se nuk do kete as lob cifut as lob amerikan qe do te dale per zot. Mjaft me.
Lobi ortodoks ne BE Korfuzi shtuar gjithashtu kushte shtese per te gllaberuar troje shqiptare. Do vihet ne vend porosia e careve ruse dhe Hrushovit kur erdhi ne Shqipëri.
Ku ti dërgoj çertifekatat e pronësisë ,zot.Rama të kujtohesh se ato i perkasin pronareve të ligjshëm,jo oligarkëve drogaxhij ?
Ptu, fytere e ndyre. Tall nje popull edhe me veshje e akcesore putanash!
Te mjeret ne, tashme jo me nga ky hajdut por nga media te tilla qe i japin fryme ketij makuti. Te gjitha mediat perfshire edhe kete faqe jane kthyer ne zedhenes te edrames. Edhe kur duan te bejne "investiguesin", "parimorin" e bejne aq bukur sa vazhdojne njesoj si edrama "fajin e ka saliu". Saliu edhe pse konkuroi me veten e tij, as merhumi nuk e ka bere nje gje te tille, prape historia do ta gjykoje per te gjitha poshtersite qe i ka bere ketij kombi, por ju si media ne vend qe ti bini drejt gjithshkaje jeni kthyer ne zedhenes te edrames. Edhe juve historia do ju "vleresoje" per ate qe jeni, ashtu siç ju ka vleresuar edhe miku juaj "media kazani"
Ky palaco as kur merr fryme, nuk mund te besohet. Ne historine e Shqiperise ky moster do mbahet mend se njeriu me i urryer i ketij populli. Vetem shkaterrim, kudo korrupsion. Gjithcka nje genjeshter e madhe.
Ore miq a dini gje kur i ka zgjedhjet per Kryetar Partie se jemi te shqetesuar.Se shoku Sali mezi fitoi dhe ajo gare e forte kemi frike se do reflektohet edhe ne PS. Dhe mos na humbase shoku EDI se do jete gjeme e madhe per ne Socialistet.(Mallkuar ai qe e futi nga dritarja ket klysh kurve)
Tashme mbreti ka dale lakuriq. Eshte ne grahmat e fundit te pushtetit te tij. I ka ardh fundi dhe mashtrimit dhe propogandes cdo gjeje. Ky individ eshte armik i ketij kombi dhe ketij vendi. Hajdut ordiner, i papergjegjshem, qe per dite e me shume po e shkaterron me deshire dhe ndergjegje kete vend.
