DP Chairman Sali Berisha called on Prime Minister Edi Rama to resign, or else the Albanians will force him to take this step.
In a statement to the media, Berisha said that there are several reasons why Albania resembles Venezuela.
He stated that Albania's misgovernance and the government's connection to drug cartels are some of the aspects where Albania resembles Venezuela.

Dear citizens, despite Rama's claims that there is no place for the intervention of Delta Force, because according to him, Albania is not Venezuela and does not have its own oil. Albania is in some respects a typical Venezuela, but Rama and Maduro are like dirty water divided in the middle. Rama has been proven that just like Ramaduro, he arrests political opponents, he uses institutions.
He, like Maduro, has family members addicted to drugs. He has his wife, this one his brother. He has impoverished the Albanians, who are the most poorly paid. True, the geography and size are different and the oil reserves are different, but the size is the same in relation to the suppression of democracy. So I tell him; resign immediately, because they will resign. Don't forget February 20th, what Albanians know how to do with false, satanic cults. So resign", said Berisha.
