SPAK today interrogated Petrit Vasili, as a person who has knowledge of LSI's lobbying in the USA. Vasili is the one who accompanied Meta to Washington to attend the inauguration of Donald Trump. But it seems that the money that was used for that photo was not declared.
The investigations against Meta started after a lawsuit filed by former MP Halit Valteri. SPAK even addressed you with a letter from the US Department of Justice requesting data on LSI lobbying. It seems that the data has been copied and now the last "rites" are being done. For days it has been said that SPAK is closing Ilir Meta's files one after the other and it seems that the affair with lobbying will raise the level of trouble for the former president.
But what is Meta really accused of?
Ilir Meta paid about 700 thousand dollars to the company "McKeon Group" for lobbying in the USA, but he did not declare it. 90,000 dollars were paid by lawyer Iraklis Fidetzis, while another 600,000 dollars were paid by Fidetzis, but through the company "Dorelita Limited", registered as offshore in Cyprus.
The first lobbying contract was signed by Iraklis Fidetzis on behalf of LSI and Ilir Meta. The contract provided for the provision of an invitation to Ilir Meta as a participant in the inauguration of Donald Trump, the organization of meetings with legislators and other leaders of the US administration in Washington during this ceremony and after January 20, 2017, the development and promotion of good relations with the new administration of Donald Trump and the US Congress.

After the contract was signed, McKeon Group started lobbying meetings, officially for Dorelita, but unofficially there are strong suspicions that the lobbying was done on behalf of Ilir Meta.
