The Democratic Party parliamentary group has asked the Assembly to develop a motion with debate on the situation created in the oncology service at the "Mother Teresa" University Hospital Center.
The request states that the latest report by the Supreme State Audit Office has highlighted the serious situation in which the healthcare sector, especially the oncology service, is currently located.

The SAI report highlights and substantiates the concerns constantly raised in the media and the complaints of cancer patients regarding the lack of medicines, the use of expired medicines, the lack of laboratory tests, and the provision of timely services.
The official request to the Albanian Parliament was signed by MPs: Bardh Spahia, Manjola Luku, Klit Hoti, Tritan Shehu, Erisa Xhixho, Ledina Alolli and Eno Bozdo.
