Democratic leader Sali Berisha considered the behavior of Foreign Minister Ferit Hoxha to be gangster-like after the publication of a WhatsApp message in which he called Albanians in North Macedonia "idiots."
Berisha said that Hoxha could not remain in office for a single minute. Berisha even declared that Hoxha's behavior was the same as that of the most ferocious Serbian ultranationalists.
Berisha said that such statements are anti-Albanian.
"Gangster behavior, anti-Albanian and vulgar statement. He has lost every element of national consciousness and is equated with the wild Serbian and Macedonian ultra-nationalists. Resignation is a necessary act. Calling Macedonian Albanians idiots who do not defend Pashiq means you are worse than him."
