Berisha withdraws, Boçi: We will participate in the reform committees!

After the debates, where several MPs came out against Sali Berisha, the Democratic Party has given up its boycott of the Territorial and Electoral Reform Commissions.

MP Luciano Boçi stated that after discussions among party leaders, the DP has decided to continue active participation in these structures, emphasizing the importance of the process.

"DP will be part of the Electoral and Territorial Commission and will continue the work agenda. We do not boycott the commissions and we are ready to support this important reform," said Boçi.

He admitted that there were different opinions within the parliamentary group, including ideas for abandonment, but the final decision was to stay at the table. According to him, any result must come through dialogue and agreement.

"There must be a consensual solution. If not, then the process would seem predetermined," Boçi concluded.
