Gazment Bardhi has responded to Lulzim Basha after the latter wished him a 'good journey in the anti-American bunker'. In an appearance for the media after today's meeting with 43 opposition MPs, Bardhi said that he has no comment, but invites him to return to the opposition mission.
" I have no comment, the invitation for Basha is to return to his mission as an oppositionist. My appeal is to reflect on the current situation in Albania and what the dysfunction of the opposition can cause to the country" , he said.
Gazment Bardhi, after being dismissed from the head of the group, gathered the opposition MPs in a meeting. Today, Bardhi sat down at a table with Sali Berisha and his loyalists, who for two years brought PD into this division.
In total, 43 deputies participated in the meeting, 4 online, 21 of them from the Berisha group, as well as 4 allies Agron Duka, Fatmir Mediu, Vangjel Dule, Dashamir Shehi. While they are looking for reconciliation between them, in fact the two groups of deputies Berisha-Bardhi were sitting opposite each other. Berisha stands with his deputies on one side of the table, while in front of him Gazment Bardhi with the deputies who have supported him.
The latter, in his speech to the media, called for the deputies to leave behind the internal debates and come up with a common parliamentary agenda.
