The Chairman of the National Council of the Democratic Party, Edi Paloka, spoke during a meeting of the Democratic Party with Albanians in Parma, Italy.
As he asks for votes from the diaspora, the Democratic MP states that the May 11 elections will overthrow Edi Rama's dictatorial regime.
"Sisters and brothers, it is truly a great pleasure and a great emotion to see you all together with this enthusiasm and with the belief in victory. When I entered this hall, I shook hands with many of you, old friends, acquaintances, some of them since the '90s and continuing, always in the common battles, always in the fight to defend the freedom and democracy of Albania. Today, with that belief that we entered 30 or so years ago and overthrew the most savage dictatorship, we will succeed in overthrowing even the newest dictatorship of Albania.
"With God's help and with your help of all democrats in Albania and abroad, we will break the neck of Rama, the last Albanian dictator. We will win without question ," said Paloka.
