The Democratic Party begins procedures for the election of a new Chairman, while the National Assembly will be held on May 30.
The decision to convene the Assembly was taken in support of the party's Statute and envisages discussions on the political situation in the country, the challenges of European integration, as well as issues related to the functioning of democracy and the rule of law.
The focus will also be on defining the political action line of the DP, while the presentation of statutory changes by the relevant working groups is expected.
The agenda includes platforms for the digitalization and modernization of the party, as well as the organization of its structures in the diaspora.
During this Assembly, members of the National Council will also be elected.
