On November 9, partial local elections will be held in 5 municipalities of the country: Vlorë, Berat, Mat, Tepelena and Cërrik.
In this context, the Socialist Party, LZHK and "Albania Becomes" have submitted to the CEC a request to register as a party for the November 9 by-elections.
Meanwhile, the Democratic Party, although it will not have candidates and will not have its name on the ballot, is reported to have submitted its names/members for the CEAZs (Zonal Election Commissions) to the CEC.
The DP will have members in the CEAZ, in the Voting Centers and counters in the Counting Groups.
Unlike the SP, Berisha's DP is supporting independent candidates.
While Albania Becomes Adriatic, Lapaj will compete with candidate Eligert Hima in the municipality of Cerrik.
